The Waldrich Coburg 'Valutec' five-side machining, continuous 5-axis fixed portal, moving table machining centre has an integrated 30kW, 2-axis gimbal head with offset spindle. The head offers continuous pathing in its C-axis of 0-380deg and in the B-axis of -5deg to +95deg.

Both axes can be interpolated for 5-axis simultaneous machining.

Spindle speed range is up to 6000 rev/min, maximum torque is 800Nm and fast travel speed of the machining head ram is 40m/min.

Clearance between the spindle head and machine table is 1500mm.

Coolant can be delivered through the machine spindle.

Designed particularly with the press tool and larger mould machining in mind, the Valutec has a table width of 2000mm and lengths of 3000, 4000 and 5000mm.

Tools are stored in a 100-pocket magazine with automatic tool changer on the operator's side of the machine.

Maximum table load is 12 tonnes and fast traverse in X and Y is up to 60m/min.
