Rotary Broach Head suits limited-space applications
Designed for CNC Swiss-type and gang style lathes, PCM[R] 2160 eliminates need to indicate broach to center and thereby facilitates setups. Product, which measures 1.1 in. in dia and 2.42 in. long, is suited for sub-spindle applications. Each holder has extra long shank, eliminating need for bushing and minimizing vibration. Capable of withstanding 2,200 lb of push force, broach head is offered with shank sizes of 16, 20, 22, and 25 mm as well as 5/8, 3/4, and 1 in. dia.
Designed specifically for the Swiss-type and gang style lathes, the PCM[R] 2160 Rotary Broach Head eliminates the need to indicate the broach to center making setups faster and easier.
The compact size of this broach holder fits into even the tightest of machines without loosing adjacent ID stations. The head diameter is only 1.1" and the head length is only 2.42" making it possible to use for sub-spindle applications where there is limited space.
Each holder has an extra long shank, eliminating the need to add a bushing, thereby reducing vibration, increasing rigidity, and providing better tool life. This also allows for modification to each specific machine and application.
Capable of withstanding 2200 lbs of push force, this broach head uses a special bearing design making it the most compact medium duty broach holder available.
